NBA All-Star Celebrity Game 2024: Cowboys' Micah Parsons named MVP after 37-point performance
Let the NBA All-Star weekend festivities begin with the annual All-Star Celebrity Game.
Some of the top artists, athletes, movie stars and a former NBA champion will take part in the event where celebrities can show off their hoops skills, all while having some fun and hijinks in between.
The head coaches of the game should make it an even more entertaining event; instead of facing off on "First Take," Stephen A. Smith and Shannon Sharpe will battle on the court as the coaches of the squads. They'll also get some music firepower on their staffs, with Sharpe getting 50 Cent as an assistant, while Smith will get Lil Wayne and Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson on his staff.
Here's what to know for the entertaining celebrity basketball game:
Micah Parsons named MVP of NBA All-Star Celebrity Game
Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons claimed the MVP award of the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game as he led Team Shannon Sharpe to victory. ESPN credited Parsons with 37 points on 17-for-31 shooting and said he had 16 rebounds and four steals in the win.
