A shooting at a Tacoma, Washington bar has left two people dead and injured three more, police say.

At around 1:30 a.m. local time Sunday, the Tacoma Police Department responded to a report of multiple shots fired inside a business in the 2700 block of 6th Avenue, the department said.

Upon arrival, police found multiple people who had suffered gunshot wounds, including one who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Throughout the course of the investigation, police discovered a fifth shooting victim, and a second person had died as a result of their injuries.

Police said the alleged suspect turned himself in at Tacoma Police headquarters around 4:30 p.m. local time Sunday.

He faces two charges of first-degree murder and three charges of first-degree assault.
